As reported in previous posts, the \u201cLong Live the Elderly\u201d program has been selected by the European Social Catalyst Fund for making a program replication plan in EU countries other than Italy where it has been started and tested for about 15 years. To replicate such a social program includes to take into account the differences among people around EU in terms of relation with the services, perception of care needs, community service organization and many other issues. The lack of this pre-implementation assessment and the presence of many and deep differences among the attitude of the population towards community care services are probably of the reason why replication of good practice at EU level is still far behind. The ESCF project aims to fill this gap for a number of selected innovative practices. The project ended producing a final report that join together the plans written by the selected participants (seven programs around Europe covering different areas of intervention and target populations).
